Thousands arrive at Waitangi

Waitangi Day is a chance to look back at New Zealand's rich history, says US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
In a message for the commemorations celebrating 171 years since the Treaty of Waitangi was signed in Northland in 1840, Clinton, on behalf of US President Barack Obama and the American people, sent her best wishes to the people of New Zealand.
